Eleri provides a financial information and planning software platform that allows users to build a financial profile, view financial calculations and information about their financial situation, plan and track spending, set saving goals, upload supported financial documents where available, and have AI-powered conversations based on the financial information they choose to provide.
Eleri Group Limited is the data controller responsible for the processing of personal data described in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how and why we process it, how it may be used in providing Eleri, how long it may be retained, and the rights available to you under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and applicable Maltese data protection law.

Depending on how you use Eleri, we may process the following categories of personal data:
Information used to create and manage your account, such as your name, email address, account settings and related account information.
Information you choose to enter into Eleri, including income, expenses, debts, loans, mortgages, credit commitments, spending, budgets, saving goals and other financial information relevant to your financial profile.
Questions, messages and other information you provide when using Eleri's conversational features, together with relevant financial context from your account where required to provide responses based on your financial situation.
Where document-upload functionality is available, we may process documents that you choose to upload, such as credit reports or credit scores, together with information contained within those documents where required to provide the relevant Eleri functionality.
You should only upload documents that relate to you and that you are entitled to provide.
If you purchase Eleri Premium, we may process information relating to your subscription, including your subscription status, selected plan, transaction status and related payment records.
Payment-card details are processed through our payment service provider and are not intended to be stored directly by Eleri.
We may process technical information generated when you use Eleri, such as IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, security logs and information about interactions with the service.
This information may be used to operate Eleri, maintain security, prevent misuse, diagnose technical issues and maintain the reliability of the service.

Without certain information, some Eleri functionality may not be available or may not be able to provide results based on your individual financial situation.

Eleri uses artificial intelligence and large language model technology to provide conversational functionality.
Financial calculations used within Eleri are generated by Eleri's software logic and structured financial data rather than relying on an AI model to independently perform financial calculations.
When you use conversational features, relevant information from your financial profile and your messages may be processed to generate a response based on the financial context available within your account.
Eleri is designed to provide financial information, calculations and tools to help you understand your financial situation and explore possible options. Eleri does not make financial decisions on your behalf.
Users should not enter passwords, authentication credentials or other information that is unnecessary for using Eleri into conversational fields.
We use third-party service providers to operate and support Eleri. These may include providers of:
These providers may process personal data where necessary to provide their services to Eleri and subject to applicable data-protection requirements.
We may also disclose personal data where required by applicable law, regulation, court order or a lawful request from a competent authority, or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal data to these service providers or permit them to use your financial information for their own advertising purposes.
Some service providers used to operate Eleri may process personal data outside Malta or the European Economic Area (“EEA”).

Financial profile information, conversations, budgeting information, saving goals and uploaded information may be retained while your account remains active so that Eleri can provide the functionality associated with your account.
If your account is deleted, personal data associated with the account will be deleted or anonymised where appropriate, subject to information that we are required or permitted to retain for legal, regulatory, accounting, fraud-prevention, security or dispute-resolution purposes.
Some information may remain temporarily within backup systems until those backups are overwritten or deleted in accordance with applicable retention processes.
